Angle Man (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure
Why the moniker "Angle Man"? Well, because he allegedly liked crimes that involved impossible angles, of course. Though he appeared during this period more as a gangster, it wasn't until his reemergence in the 70's that he donned his recognizable green and yellow jammies sporting his Penrose triangle "Angler". Where does a common gangster get such a device that can alter objects and teleport? Why from Darkseid, silly. Poor Angle Man played the wrong angle in the original Crisis series and died. But eventually he reappeared as Angelo Bend (why no one gave him a angle-pun real name in the Silver Age is rather surprising) a thief who used his Angler to avoid authorities. And then in the New52 he was apparently revealed to be Vandal Savage's son, because, well, the New 52 likes to ruin everything. Thanks to Rabid Ewok for the holster idea. Angle Man here was made using a Dc Universe Power Ring figure (so that all the joints were already green) and a modified Dr. Mid-Nite head. His Angler was cut from some plastic while the holster is a piece of vinyl from a binder. Put together he makes for a rather unique looking character from certain, ahem, angles. Hey, I needed at least one triangle pun, right? Or is it isosceles? Equilateral? Geez, been a long time since I took geometry... Thanks for looking at all the angles (of my pictures)!
