Basic Figure: Ghost in the Shell: Motoko Kusanagi Mcfarlane 6 " I wanted to return to the appearance of the character in the animated film, namely its nakedness. The figure seems to have been inspired by a famous cover of the manga (same gun in hand). I hesitated to make her taking the same pose kneeling in a pin-up way. But I also liked the "levitation" aspect ! First I removed the cable network covering the left breast (I reattached it on the base)and another piece above the right breast. I have "erased" the joints with sculpting dough, re-sculpted breasts, then repainted all in flesh color. I drilled additional holes on the body to add cables (electric wires painted in black). To raise the figure a little more, I added a stiff wire that I painted black. The weapon is not the original one (this is a second hand figure ...) it's Trinity's one. And there you go ! Too bad that Mcfarlane toys had not released a standard version (dressed) of this character (there were things to do with the holding "camouflage") and also Bato ... ![]() |
