Next up in my Jim Lee X-men series I have the leader of Gold Team, Storm. I had a few hurdles with this one, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. All the base pieces are from the ML Phoenix figure, except for the cape which is from a Toy biz Storm. The rest is epoxy and paint.

Could I ask what hurdles you ran into, I was thinking about making a Jim Lee Storm out of this same Base Figure

Paint rub, but that's to be expected, and actually this figure was pretty forgiving in that respect. The main hurdle was the shoulder pads. I used paper templates to get the shape and size right, and then I traced the paper template shape onto a sheet of flexible foam. Then I just glued them in place. Hope that helps.
