I've decided to start a few customs to try to capture the art of Joe Madureira, who did a lot of highly stylized, beefy, bright, anime versions of X-men and the Avengers back in the day. I found this picture of his rendition of Bishop in his Last X-man gettup, which is kind of a mashup of his classic, space look, and modern look. Thought it was really cool so I decided to try and capture it in figure form. I used the following recipe:

Head- Roman Reigns, sculpted dreads and beads in his dreads, modded jaw a bit.
Torso/Shoulders- LCBH Savage Dragon w sculpted armor bits
Arms-X3 Juggernaut
Crotch/upper legs-Newest Captain America (Reaper Mold) sculpted X Buckle
Lower Legs-New Sentry w sculpted wraps and laces
Feet-Bishop, modded for modern ankle rotation/pivot rockers

Lots of random fodder to complete the look.

Finished him up with a bright cartoony anime looking airbrush paint job for that Joe Mad style.
