This is a figure I've wanted for such a long time...well...not a figure but a DOLL...I know...that's weird right?...dolls are supposed to be for girls...but this is no ordinary doll...she's a GWENDY DOLL...from the classic movie...SMALL SOLDIERS...In the movie these dolls were modified into killing machines by Chip Hazard. These dolls were horrific beauties in the film...I loved them...but sadly there were no toys made of them. So I got the sudden urge to try an make one. She does not look like any of the dolls in the film specifically...She is just meant to represent them. I definitely get a Gwendy doll vibe when looking at her. I used a kumik body for the articulation. These dolls were pretty agile in the film and a regular Barbie wouldn't cut it...Her head went in the microwave for less than a minute to get that look. A big thing to try and accomplish was her eyes and the sockets...I ended up making my own eyes to go in her sockets...the eyes can move which is cool...the burn marks are actual burn marks lol...lots of gashes and staples and wires on her...real saw blades on her arms...some things off of a circuit chip on her head...even some screws...so yeah...this is my Gwendy doll...I'm happy to finally have one.
