Here we have my custom hookshot. After seeing the deluxe figma Link set from A Link Between Worlds I decided to make my own hookshot, because the hooshot was the main reason I wanted the DX set. I tried basing it off a more simple design I found, based off Link Between Worlds. Red chamber, big handle, silver rim. I started with a pen cap, and cut off the end with the stick. I cut out the other end, and filed it in with apoxie clay to stick in the handle. The handle itself is a twist tie painted silver. The other end is also filled with clay, with a hole in it to swap out the deployed and closed end.

For the actual... pointy bits, I dunno, I took some jewelry accessories, and painted them silver. The jewelry is some earrings made by Fairy Tale; a couple of closed umbrellas. I attached twist ties to them, and secured them with clay to look like the nub seen in game. Both... hooks, I guess, swap out easily like a basic peg, and really complete the effect I feel. The deployed hook's chain is just 2 twist ties wrapped around each other. Last bit of detail, the rim is a rubber band painted silver. Anything silver was painted black first, then silver
