This is what started This hobby for me about 17 years ago. I've seen a painting that was given to Jeremy Bullock ( actor who played Boba Fett ) of Boba Fett surfing a big wave. Figuring it to big of a job to replicate it with action figures. I opted for the next best thing.....Chewy snowboarding.
A simple oval wood board. With three support beams of different heights, light gauge screen mesh stapled down to form the surface,sprayed with adhesive and covered with cotton pillow stuffing.
I experimented with clay and pouring paint on the cotton to make the snow.
The trees are from christmas decorations. The snowboard is a large tec-deck finger/skateboard. The bindings are from a tec-deck snowboard (that was to small so went with converting the skateboard) the goggles are from a different Chewy with the strap replaced with a painted twisty tie ( I LOVE TWISTY TIES )

Jaja excellent job. I love it.
And they call him abominable!!!, why? he is such a nice guy, but don't make him mad or he will pull your arms out their sockets.
To tell you truth when I first saw the first picture I could swear I saw 3POS head behind his left leg, I thought he was using him as his snowbord, I thought it was hilarious, then I notice it was his foot and it was my imagination, and read everything. Its 2 am. I must be tired. Love the idea and concept of this.
