For this custom, I did the same modifications as I did to strengthen the series 6 Rick with the tan button-down shirt. I started out with the series 6 Rick figure and basically just replaced the weaker joints (I.e. elbow joints, wrist swivel pegs, etc.) with joints that aren't as fragile. I upgraded the durability of the figure by removing the lower arms from the rolled-up sleeves. You must be extremely careful during this process as to not break the pegs off inside of the upper arms. If this happens, (and it did happen to me), use a dremmel tool to sand out the plastic of the peg(s) that's stuck. I then took the series 2/series 3 exclusive Rick lower arms placed them in the rolled-up sleeves. Ya may want to use just a dab of super glue in the rolled-up portion of the sleeves and then quickly rotated and pull the lower arms out and in the hole to create a thicker edge so they don't come out easily. Then, I took the walkie-talkie that was on series 7 Gareth's belt and sliced it off with an exacto knife. I super glued it to Rick's belt in the front, just where he had it in the season 6 premier episode. I gave him the hands of comic series 1 Sheriff Rick. He has his right hand in blood gauze bandages from when he cut his hand trying to stab a zombie in the head. This beautiful sculpted cleanly shaven head sculpt was made by a fellow member of the Figure Realm community known as "Bones'Customs." He made this head for me as well as a much better thick bearded Rick head. I would highly recommend this guy as the quality of his work is 2nd to none. He still has this head sculpt posted on eBay if anyone is interested! Anyways, thanks for checking this guy out!
