I really liked the series 6/series 7 Woodbury Assault Rick figures McFarlane produced! They are very nicely detailed and highly articulated. However, the arm joints used in the elbows and the plastic used wrist swivel had extremely weak pegs that are very prone to break off easily. So I upgraded the durability of the figure by removing the lower arms from the rolled-up sleeves. Like I said, you must be extremely careful during this process as to not break the pegs off inside of the upper arms. If this happens, (and it did happen to me), use a dremmel tool to sand out the plastic of the peg(s) that's stuck. I then took the series 2/series 3 exclusive Rick lower arms placed them in the rolled-up sleeves. Ya may want to use just a dab of super glue in the rolled-up portion of the sleeves and then quickly rotated and pull the lower arms out and in the hole to create a thicker edge so they don't come out easily. Another optional modification you could make is adding an interchangeable head from the series 1/series 3 exclusive Rick figure. The dark blue suede button down shirt Rick wore for the Woodbury Assault is very similar to/if not the same shirt he wore when he and Shane drove Randall out to the high school. Obviously Rick had a more trimmed beard and his hair was shorter then, so ya could also use this figure for that scene if ya took the series 1/series 3 exclusive Rick head and swapped the ball joint out with that of the Woodbury Assault ball joint. Personally, I thought McFarlane did a better job resembling Andrew Lincoln in the series 6 head paint job. Although the series 7 Woodbury Assault has the same sculpt, the paint job is a lot worse. So I use the series 6 Rick head as well as the series 1/series 3 exclusive Rick head with the swapped neck ball joint for this figure. Thanks for viewing my work!
