Blok actually started out as an enemy of the Legion of Super-heroes. Having been mislead by the Dark Man into thinking the Legion was out to destroy his homeworld, Blok joined up with the League of Super-Assassins (not to be confused with Ra's Al Ghul League of Assassins because this group wass clearly 'super') he took on the Legion. Eventually he realized his mistake, and his rocky beginning with the Legion was smoothed out and he went on to become a valuable member of the team.

This was my second time making Blok. Which made it a little easier because I had more of a *ahem* concrete idea on the size and shape of how to sculpt his head. So the same as the first version, this version of Blok was made from a DC Universe Lead figure. The worst part about that is once his skirt is removed there's almost a half inch gap between the upper and lower torso I had completely fill in with moldable plastic and milliput. So just about everything is sculpted...his boots...wristbands...his sexy onesie to cover his literally rock hard abs...his head. And some foam shoulder-pads because nothing would be an 80's design if there weren't giant shoulder pads, right?
