I really wanted to make my own Drizzt action figure. I started with painting a True Legends Knight body. I had a Loki figure from the Thor movie that I dismantled and painted the head blue with white hair. I mixed the paint to my liking of the light blue and mixed a seprate darker blue for the accents as used on the mouth. I realized that the Loki figure did not have pointed ears as portrayed for the Drizzt character, so I cut 2 pieces of hard plastic from a GI-Joe accessory and painted them with the same blue mix that I used on the figure's face. Once they dried I glued the ears on over top of the figures original ears. Holding the base of the ears tightly so that the points would stick out a bit and be more noticeable. I painted the cape green (came with the knight)and covered it with fake fur from a winter hat. I used a Star Wars holster from Aura Sing for the sword frog that hangs across the figure and holds the sword. The figure is only pictures with one knight sword. I realize that Drizzt does have two scimitar swords but that is an easy compensation. I used the Loki figure's coat to make Drizzt's leather armor. I might make a better one on a larger scale in the future, but for now I am happy with this figure. Hope ya enjoy! And YES, the Demon figure and the Dragon Templar featured on the back of the packaging that I put together is my creation as well, but that is another story....... Please wait... |
