Another modern figure converted into a more classic look. I dremeled off and sanded down the icy spikes all over this figure, and making the head nice and smooth. I got a sheet of clear styrene, cut a belt shape off and stuck it on. Never used styrene before, and it could have gone better but I'm fine with it. The most simple of paint jobs involved dry brushing white and silver, and making the X logo on the belt. A painless custom that I really like! If I could make the feet more shoe-like, I would, but there are no readily available ones for it. But I can live with the bare ice feet. Thanks for looking! ![]() |

Try using electrical tape, cut a length of it and fold it in on itself "hog dog" style so the edges are neat and there are no exposed sticky parts.
I've been mountaineering in single digit temperatures, my clothes have never been frozen stiff. It's mainly because the materials theyre made of are designed to repel water and stay flexible, which im sure is a bit of foresight the X-Men would have when designing their uniforms too, so I doubt Iceman would suffer from Stiff Belt Syndrome, an affliction that plagues as many as 30% of all customs produced today. rofl
