This one took a long time.

I started this when I lived in NYC, where space was a premium. The goal was to create a piece of functional furniture that served as a display piece as well. Since there are so many Jabba's palace goons (too many for a typical shelf) I chose that as my target.

The piece is constructed out of wood, foamcore with a plaster overlay, and lots of various sculpted pieces. I also created several custom figures just for the diorama itself. There are assorted lights running throughout the piece, which I will eventually add to (and probably replace with LED lights). The table top is a nice, thick glass.

The table is currently in storage while my new house is built, but I plan on using it as the coffee table in my home office. I'll revisit the furniture side of it with a nice stain or furniture paint. I have a bunch of photos, but the maximum here is 4.
