Hey, Realmers! Next up is another MOTU concept called Hawk King and Hellraven. To be the leader of the Avions is an achievement of a lifetime. From birth, this more science based species of Birdmen that are more human in appearance but still have all the advanced senses, powers and talents of the more animal-like Birdmen are the competitive allies of Stratos tribe of Birdmen. After the end of the civil war between the tribes, a harmless rivalry has remained debating if the new ways of the Avions are better than the old ways of Stratos' more ancestral Birdmen. Hawk King has held this title annually and is the youngest to do so in the history.

After a few losses, the Avions quickly learned from their errors and granted Hawk King (then knows as Professor Ariel Celestius), full access to the wealth, technology and historic armory of the Avions to make them a great advanced army. Celestius had a breakthrough when he found an ore in the highest mountain top that many have failed to scale, plummeting to their death from the sub-zero air and thin oxygen. Celestius had a sleepless night after the unfortunate death of good friend that sadly joined the ranks of the fallen. Vengefully glaring in the sky to the top of the mountain, amidst a vow to reach the top in respects to honor his friend and the fallen, a star falls to the top of the mountain, causing a beautiful explosion of what he calls "an aerial incursion" of brilliant colors of all the spectrum. From time to time, Celestius would see these same eruptions and the same stunningly beautiful "incursion" would occur. Celestius became obsessed with this and built an armor technology that would get him to the top and back with enough warmth and oxygen for the journey.

Nearly joining the ranks of the fallen from the excursion, because the last oxygen tank had a leak from a battle with Raptor , Stratos saves Celestius' life by flying to his aid when he became incapacitated from exhaustion and lack of oxygen (bad combo), during his flight home (Stratos people are slightly more durable and fur helps keep them warmer in the heavens. This further bonded both tribes and also reminded the Avions that the "Old Birds" are still a force to reckon with, showing more respect to Stratos and his tribe.


I started with a Stryfe head with some sculpt over the top lip, giving him a more birdlike helmet. Armor is combo of He-Ro with paint removed, then airbrushed silver, then translucent blue over. Sculpt kneeguards, straps on boots and heels.Superman crotch.Batman boots with talon on toes of boot from Hasbro Black Cat whips, talon weapons from fodder bin with some handles and straps to give them a secured brace to wield them (combo of sculpt and some plastic straps from fodder bin).
