Really enjoyed finishing this finally. Started around June I believe, using a Thorin as a base I removed the hair off the top of his head and another it over with sand paper and then added ears and sculpted the hair beard and bald head. I used 2 Thorins coat to make the upper fur poncho or w.e you wanna call it and various fodder for the x strap and axe holder which uses 2 Gimli throwing axe holders. Sculpted upper boots and parts of belt took buckles from a figures fastenings on gloves. Lower arms are from a Marvel Legends Wolverine made shorter added cuts and the claws were removed. Knuckle dusters were made from cutting out plastic to the right shape then bending it and sword cross guards for the other with pins inserted to hold the chains adjoining the chain from wrist strap to duster. Chains from a Arkham Joker and Harley Quinn, but did order some online to replace those from China. Axes were Gimli throwing axes handles and I sculpted the axe heads entirely. For you super fan geeks of the films you'll notice the Dwarven runes that say Grasper and Keeper which Graham McTavish suggested they be called after Emily Brontë's Dogs (Wuthering Heights author). This is why I watch the extended behind the scenes for help and inspiration on customs as you find out all these little secrets and reasonings behind the simplest of things. So yeah sculpted most things myself including the axes and belt buckle top of boots head nose brow forehead beard etc. Dwalin also carries a dagger which is an upside down Theoden sword handle attached to one of those rubbish Glamdrings from the light up staff Gandalfs re shaped and Sam's Barrow blade sheath reshaped. I believe that's everything was fun to make and looks cool, has scars all over and his tattoos took forever to paint. Hope you realmer's enjoy!!

As an update ages ago I added his hammer when posting the Company of Thorin Oakenshield and since then I’ve also made his BOTFA Erebor Royal Guard Axe and scratch built his dagger which previously was just that terrible version of Glamdring with a Theoden hilt and a Sam scabbard. So I’ve rebuild it by just using the same hilt but cutting a gap in the middle then inserted a cut out of the dagger blade made of thin plastic then sculpted the details and painted. As for the sheath I just folded a plastic sheet around the dagger bending it into a sort of flat cuboid then cut it to the right shape and bent it so it was rounded and then used miliput to sculpt the details to give a screen accurate rendition. The Erebor Axe and hammer are the same method utilising Gimli’s throwin Axes as they have a thicker handle and just slitting a slot into the top and inserting a cut out of the Axes shape then doing layer by layer sculpting and carving giving it an edge and then painting and ageing. The hammer was just built piece by piece and then I used coronation Gimli’s robe to imprint that dwarvish design onto the gold bits. Ages ago I also added his ear piercings and recently I’ve Redone the fur on the boots as I figured out a more realistic way of sculpting fur and painting it. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, it is a really easy method for making weaponry that is doable for anyone so I do think people should have a go at making weapons for their figures if they think they can. Might add some WIP pics of the Axe and Dagger as they are the main new additions and the hammer I made back when I posted the Company.
