I've wanted to Make the Wincesters ever since I started customizing figures but just didn't feel like I could do them justice. Then I stopped watching the show around season 6 or so and kind of forgot about them. Well, recently the wife and I started watching it again and I felt the need to have them adorning my shelves...the wife didn't really see it that way but c'est la vie eh?

Anyway, Dean was made using a NECA Young Pops figure with a NECA RE5 Chris Redfield head. There was virtually no work to it. Just repainting the skin tone a bit and dremeling off Chris's earpiece which I'd done years ago for one of my first abandoned customs anyway. His right wrist broke off and I had to fix it to a swivel but I think I'm going to redo it later back to factory after finishing them. His knife was from fodder and I cut in a serrated edge to stand in for Ruby's knife. His shotgun came from a McFarlane Evil Dead Ash which I sawed off. All I need to do is figure out his necklace and he's ready to gak some spooks.
