Mockingbird's body and Wasp's head make for a great combo to produce Boom Boom / Meltdown. I was bummed that I couldn't get her glasses to go on / off easily, but I used sculpt to make "hair" around them to stay on her head, which is how she usually rocks them in the comics. I had leftover sculpt at one point and realized it could be made into an energy ball, and I was pleased to see how easily it molded to be easily removable but still a snug fit. Yellow paint takes so many coats but in making it lighter for her hair, I also made the costume have two tones of yellow. I was inspired by the variety of images online of Meltdown and combined them in ways that, imo, look pretty sweet. I also experimented with pen work (a sharpie that I actually sharpened to a finer point and then dip in paint) to make the detailed lines, like on the X on her belt. It is a technique I will definitely use in the future.
