A repainted 'Clavian' red skeleton from the Four Horsemen's "Mythic Legions" action figure kickstarter. The original was a fun figure, but the reds lacked depth, and the armor was too clean looking compared to the blood/rust deco on the sword.

The Mythic Legions figures have multiple interchangeable parts (primarily the hands, shoulder pauldrons, head, neck, neck armor guard, torso-joint, and skirt). This involves a lot fo flexible 'cape' plastic that does not take standard acrylic (Vallejo/Tamiya/etc.) paint without flaking. I used Mr. Hobby / Mr. Color lacquer paints + the leveling thinner to ensure a durable factory-paint like surface, then stained areas using (now out of production) Citadel "ink" for a realistic blood color and effect.

Sealed with Mr. Hobby Matte Super Clear spray, Lord Clavian is ready to conquer the Mythic Legions.
