I made this Jeff from Scud the Disposable Assassin custom as part of the Fwoosh's annual Summer Swap. It took me a long, long time and it was the most challenging figure I’ve ever tackled. But in the end, my recipient seemed to really appreciate it, so it makes it all worth it. Jeff was made using Psycho Sid WWE Elite legs (heavily modified - extended, knees sanded down and mouth sculpted onto knees, smoothed out muscle definition, added a bare butt), a pair of generic 1/6 scale hands for the feet hands (???), an old WWF Jakks Pacific Billy Gun torso (VERY heavily modified), a set of arms from a Jakks WWF TTL Edge figure (just added magnets and sculpted cuffs), and hands from a Marvel Legends Sasquatch (again, HEAVILY modified). The mouse trap hands were made by a using foam board base with apoxie sculpt shell. The hardware on the mousetraps are just floral wire and paper clips shaped and glued in place. The head is made of a super glue container (cut to size and modified) with a bendable rubber coated wire as the neck so she has a full range of neck motion. Finally, the squid was made of multiple components. The body is a core of aluminum foil covered in apoxie sculpt. Smaller tentacles were sculpted with ProCreate for added flexibility. The 2 large tentacles are bendable and can hold their shape very well. It started by making a fake skin out of liquid latex and paper towel. I then super glued it as I rolled the skin around a wire. I did this in small sections at a time to ensure the glue was getting a good, firm hold on the core wire. Once I got it to my desired thickness I sculpted a tip on the end of both tentacles, then connected them to the body of the squid (using glue, toothpicks and apoxie sculpt). I then glued the squid to the body and secured it with apoxie sculpt. Finally, used elastic bands as the belts on the torso with a bit of sculpt for the buckle. I think ill just leave it at that. lol. Thanks for reading if you did or just checking her out! Please wait... |
