Moondancer is part of a blue skined alien race who are part of the Shi'ar Empire. She is also a member of empire's most gifted members of their races the Imperial Guard.
Moondancer has an apparent natural ability to pinpoint the location of any object in the vast expanse of space. Altough her maximum distance has not been discovered there are reports of her locating objects/people from her own Shi'ar galaxy to Earths, knowing exactly where it/they are that she was searching for. She often works closely with her fellow Guardsman named Voyager, who has the ability to open teleportation gates. With their combined powers they stage a perfect combination of tracking and transportation wed as one.
