There's a mysterious vigilante in the Gotham City slums. No, it isn't Batman. It's Ragman!

He fights to defend the downtrodden of society. He's an ordinary human named Rory Regan who wears an extraordinary suit. Though it may look like just a suit of rags, it's actually a suit of souls.

The old suit was passed down to him after his father died. Its origin has ties to Jewish folklore. It was created in the 1500's by a council of Rabbis using magic spells. The person who was chosen to wear it would become the guardian and protector of the oppressed.

Ragman's suit is like a soul powered purgatory. It absorbs the souls of evil individuals to incorporate them into its patchwork. These souls lend their knowledge and strength to the wearer in order for them to earn their way into the afterlife. The wearer of the suit would have increased strength, agility, and invulnerability.

Ragman has also joined a group of heroes with mystic powers called Shadowpact.
