Are you a fan of Mr. Knight? I know I am! First time this new persona of Moon Knight manifested itself in the comics I was blown away with how good and unique he looked. Then issue 5 blew my mind again with the non stop ruthless action. After that I knew I needed to make a figure of this guy.
My take on Mr. Knight is pretty simple at its core. It’s mostly a Gotham Select Alfred figure with swapped arm parts, painted with multiple shades of gray and topped off with a nice, rich white dry brush. The thing is – the all white suit is a magnificent idea in the comics, it purposefully clashed with everything around it. But in the real world it makes for a really dull looking toy. I knew from the start I had to make slight alterations to the look, to make it pop the way it pops on the page. I settled on giving a sheen to his gloves, boots and vest collar; making his eyes and tie a really bright, reflective silver; and painting the cool watch chain gold.
The blood was almost a last minute idea. I think it makes great use of the white background of his suit and really shows Mr. Knight’s visceral fighting style.
