Hello Realmers. It has been a while hasn't it? Moving home tends to sidetrack a guy, but fear not!! I'm back in the game...

I can't help but notice that Marvel seems to get a disproportionate amount of love on here, so I thought I'd wade in & redress the balance in the way I know best... Enter the S.H.I.E.L.D. Bug!

A Predator enters the Marvel universe fray and cleans house in the way only a Predator can... the big three Avengers have been picked off in this piece, & Ultron decimated...

Numerous NECA & McFarlane Predator parts were used to put this guy together. I removed and resculpted his teeth, as I wanted some longer tusks on this guy. One of them has been sculpted to appear broken when he took the shot to the face (well he wasn't going to come out completely unscathed...)

I wanted to try and suggest iridescence on his armour, to give it an insectoid appearance. So iridescent/metallic red, green & violet paint was drybrushed over a black base for a beetle-like look.

The trophies were taken from a range of Marvel Select/Legends figures. Gouges from the wrist blades were cut into Cap's shield & Iron Man's helmet and given licks of paint to suggest blast marks and in the case of Mjölnir, blood. A NECA spine and severed neck sculpted from green stuff were added to the Iron Man helmet for a gorier effect.

I perched him atop a Hawkeye base over a defeated Ultron for the final flourish.
