hey I've used citadel too now after I realized that this vallejo fluorstuff is a bad decision for drybrushing he's nearly finished now but still needs a base.the citadelyellow I got seems ok for db,but now this parts are already yellow without shadows...but I thought of thin up some darkgrey to nearly water-like,let it drip in the grooves and brush the rest away

depending on how wide or thin apart the grooves are, another method you could use would be to take a thin micron pen and draw the lines into the grooves. If you can do this though, youll need to wait at least a day after applying for the ink to dry completely. Then you can apply a sealer over it to keep the ink from smudging against your fingers.

Thanks Marz, what paints are you using for your Scorpion? I was using citadel paints, and I later figured out that by thinning the paint a little, I was able to drybrush a Sub-Zero with much better results. Though I haven't tried it again with yellow though....

You have no idea Optimus . I originally tried dry brushing it, but the paint kept seeping into the folds of the suit, so I ended up having to paint multiple, multiple layers of yellow on each individual square.

Thanks for the appreciation, glad you like it!

All that yellow must've been a pain to paint. Love the skull head addition. Nice pics too!!
