I have been wanting to attempt a Superman custom for a while now. I finally got up the courage to give it a go. I tried to model him after his new look in DC Rebirth.

I used a ML Grim Reaper base with lower arms and hands from the DCUC new52 Superman. The cape is from the DCC New52 Superman and the head is a heavily modified ML Commander Rogers head. I totally resculpted the hair and also sculpted over some of the wrinkles on his face to make him look younger.

The trickiest part of this custom was the chest emblem. I was nervous about this, as it could make or break the custom. I ended up taking my DCUC new52 Superman and cut it open and then dremmeled/sanded down all of the blue part until all that was left was the emblem. Once I sanded it down, it fit perfectly on the Grim Reaper chest. I was very please with the way it turned out.
