Hey all! I'm new to the realm, and I figured I'd start with my favorite class of clone trooper. Just a paint app, but this is my first time ever customizing anything, so any constructive criticism is appreciated!

I did a drybrush technique on the armor to give it a more weathered look. For the blue, I mixed a few different vallejo colors together (deep sky blue, dark blue, & black). I did the armor designs by covering the sections in electrical tape and cut out the chest, leg and helmet details, then painted them in. I free-handed the shoulder & knee pads. After that, I went around the figure and painted on a few blaster streaks. Once all that was done, I took a toothpick and lightly scraped away at the blue to make the armor look even more battle-worn. This detail really brought the figure to life, and made it look much more screen accurate IMO. Lastly, I brushed on a super light coat of matte varnish to help preserve everything.
