This was a fun one! I had no desire to keep spending money on Mattel's Movie "MAAAAASTERRRRS" (note sarcasm) from TDKR but I really wanted that Bat Signal! I only had three parts: the light portion, the mounting portion and the small base. So I drilled some holes and found a way to attach the light portion to the mount. I removed the flat cylindrical piece that surrounded the tiny light and replaced it with a silver cone (thin plastic rolled, glued and spray painted). Now I just needed some "glass" to mount the Bat on. Oddly enough I was eating some Pringles and thought "Hey...this lid looks like the exact same size as..."...AND IT WAS! So I painted the rim black and attached a small magnet to the center.

I used some old credit card-looking wallet fodder to cut out the symbols and painted em up. Applies a small magnet to each bat and BAM! Universal Bat Signal! I even popped a magnet into the hollow base to store the extra Bats! It doesn't project by ANY means...but makes a nice, bright display piece!
