Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They are such a wonderful part of our collective pop-culture. As a child of the 80's I certainly grew up with them and I can't remember a time when the Turtles didn't have a current cartoon, movie or comic. So I thought it was about time to honour our half-shell heroes with a new project; the Secret Sewer Lair! At first I just wanted a cool, little diorama that would serve as a display piece for three or four Turtles figures. But upon completion I deceided to make more pieces that can be combined [placed next to each other] for a larger Lair.

Part 3 of my Secret Sewer Lair; this is the Dojo/ Splinters room. Same M.O as the other parts; sculpt, paint and PVC pipes :) The dojo mats are a separate piece from the wall so it can be displayed in different configurations. I made a bunch of accessories: the candles, table, bonsai, painting and the training device, which I'm kinda proud of.
