As we continue to march toward Captain America: #CivilWar we have a look at SHIELD's very own super bad-ass (*cough*, lacky that gets destroyed with ease, *cough*) MANDROID!

This is a head-to-toe repaint of the Marvel Legends Mandroid Build-A-Figure, previously released in a dull grey. So proud of my little brother Nicholas for such patience and talent!

Nicholas primed the figure in black before drybrushing layers of a custom-mixed golden-orange to make the figure look somewhere between reality and its bright yellow comic book counterparts. Mixing metallic paint into the armor gives the figure a sheen, compounded with a 2X Krylon GLOSS sealant.

Nice work. Much more interesting to look at now. Getting the contrasting colors in there helps break up the sculpt and make it feel more like an armor rather than just that one monochrome gray color. Very cool. ~phin
