This is Taarna, from the 1981 animated film "Heavy Metal". The main protagonist of the movie, she's a warrior woman descended from an ancient line of similar warriors who fight the recurring source of all evil: the Lock-Nar. She's basically the half-naked female version of Clint Eastwood, since she never speaks a word, and just walks around glaring and chopping villain's heads off with her magic sword. She's also adept at punching straight through bad guys skulls with her bare fists. I can safely say this might be the first action figure of Taarna, simply because few people have ever heard of the movie. I always thought she was cool though, and seeing how her main weapon is a sword, I thought she would be the perfect obscure character for this contest.

This custom was made with Thundra. I gave her a complete re-paint to match her look in the movie, and used various fodder for her armor and weapons.
