Ok. so first off. when marvel first announced the death of wolverine story line, I was pretty excited. I mean its not every day we get to see an unkillable man Die... and with that we got a great send off to one of the most beloved comic characters to date.

shure we all knew it wasn't going to last. like so many before him he'd be gone for a year and then "POW" he was a clone this whole time, or he never really died, or he was transported to the negative zone...but even though it would be short lived. its always fun to see who will step up to fill the void, left by the hero's death. like when cap died we got Bucky Barns. with Batman's death we got Dick Grayson. but unlike those stories, where I actually felt the hero had ether an obligation,or circumstances that led them to take up the mantle. we get a total cop out by marvel. and get X-23 wolverine.

to me it just didn't feel right. X-23 had up till now been with the all new X-men. and that just felt right. she was out of wolverines shadow. and really growing into her own woman. but getting back on topic.
I thought the new wolverine should have been Daken. with his history, and the ghost's he lives with on a daily basis. it would have been a great story. plus his punk attitude just doesn't mix well with the other X-men, and the fact that he was a VILLAIN.
a story about Daken trying to live up to his fathers ideals. that sound like a wolverine comic. and so was my inspiration for this figure...

I wanted him to have his own look. something that separated him from the other variations of wolverine. so I decided to go with a full leather body suit. and a black and red color scheme.

lower abdomen: toybiz magneto. (with sculpt, and 3d printer pin lines)

shoulders: terrax series ghost rider. (retooled, with sculpt)

arms: amazing spider-man electro.

bladed hands: marvel legends wolverine hands. (added metal blades and Sculpt)

alt hands: marvel legends wolverine hands. (with sculpt)

upper legs: marvel legends movie series ant man. (with sculpt)

upper calf: amazing spider-man electro.

boots: toybiz fantastic four move Mr fantastic.

he's fully equipped with the real metal claws, I made from a jigsaw blade. alt hands, and alt head with sculpted hair. hope you guys like the concept.
