I've been wanting Lana to go with my Clark Kent figure. I think Superman III really inspired me, and I just loved the Clark/Lana relationship in that film- maybe because she loved Clark, and not all the flash and sizzle over Superman. I lucked out and found the Barbie Fashionista doll at my local brick and mortar store, and also had a Solider Story/Sea International body around. I replaced the Sea International figure's tiny neck spear/knob with a much larger one from a ERTL female figure. The ball piece that fits inside the figure's neck cavity was huge in comparison to the Sea International figure's neck ball, so I had to sand it down considerably in order for it to fit into the new neck. However, thankfully, the fit was near perfect, and now, thanks to her huge neck knob (where the head sits), Lana has total neck mobility. Her jeans and sneakers are Ken's, and her blouse was handmade by my aunt for one of my childhood Barbies. Thankfully, it fits the Soldier Story body nicely. She looks a little rustic. Maybe she stayed back in Smallville, and Clark visited her from Metropolis. The Superman sweater is by an Etsy seller, trailcrafts. It does fit Lana, and Ken. ![]() |
