"BOOOOWEEEEOOOO, MIND-TAKERY!!!" Birdman was looking lonely on the shelf, so I decided to roll out some other cast members! Mentok was started with a Marvel Universe Wrecker, I sanded down the legs and boots and sculpted him some pointier feet. His skirt was made from black foam craft sheets I picked up from the Wal-Mart. This was my first go at using craft foam as soft goods clothing and I'm pretty happy with the execution! It's durable, it glues well and surprisingly it holds acrylic paint very well!(just let it dry for a bit before handling) The left side of his tunic was sculpted out, same as the chest emblem with a hand painted M. I used an Avengers Assemble Skrull Soldier for the head, sculpted the beard and the googly eyes, used a Prismacolor .03 black ink pen for the eyes and the details in the skullcap.
