Transformers POWERDIVE WWII-era plane (Transformers) Custom Action Figure
A Transformers Voyager-class WWII era airplane, "Powerdive" repainted with Mr. Hobby lacquer paints. Canopy dipped in Tamiya clear red, dried, then dipped in Future Floor polish to ensure durability - an old model airplane hobbist trick for tinting clear components. Sealed with Mr. Hobby super clear matte finish (masked off the canopy to ensure gloss coat was maintained). Please wait... |

Do lacquer paints work equally well on all parts of a Transformer? Are they substantially more durable than acrylics?
Be wary though - soak the plastic with too much thinner and it weakens it to the point of breaking. It's a fine balance.
