I've always enjoyed idea of Petorabbits. When you think about it those creatures are very mysterious. The only thing you know about them is how dangerous they are and the only hint about it in G1 was given by Kup

The first useful thing I found about petrorabbits was page from "Cybertron Bestiary". Sadly I found only one photo in low resolution so I am not sure if it is official or just fanart. Nevertheless this was my starting point for this figure. Because I've never seen any custom Petrorabbit before I can say this is probably the first one ever done:)


Main materials I used for this custom were table tennis balls, some styrene, plastic spoons and a little screw which will be the tail. I wanted my figure to be something in between cute puppy and dangerous beast. That's why I used some silver paint with shading effect to counter soft lines and round shape. Another minor details I added were pinkish spots on "cheeks" and ears. Those help diversify colours. I also installed some ballast in the lower part of the figure. This way it won't roll all over the place and it always comes back to the neutral position.

To make my figure feel more evil and dangerous I added red eyes with glowing effect. I also included small energon cube to accompany my Petrorabbit. When main colorurs were done I added some black lines to highlight the paintjob more. When it Cured I applied some gloss clearcoat. I scaled my Petrorabbit to match Masterpiece figures. I believe it will look great with them.
