This is my first custom that I've ever done and it took a while to complete as I did plenty of research and looked at many different techniques before I decided to take it on. This deadpool features a very basic and simple recipe using various parts of Marvel Legends Captain Americas. Swords and additional accessories all came from castingcave and were painted/finished by myself. I used real leather for the holsters in front as well as for wrapping the sword handles and for the sword sheaths (possibly might add some additional leather straps later on). With the paint I was trying to give him a much more grittier/textured look to make the costume seem almost fabric like but also very weathered; thus I made the red darker and put less layers on so that the black underneath could still be seen. He comes with the recent Hasbro issue head and a Bowen sculpt as well. I used various techniques with Citadel as my primary paints. I wanted him to have a more tactical feel so I made the boots look more military and added some small silver details throughout the figure. Overall he was a fun figure to make and I'm glad to add him to the deapool collection!Let me know what you guys think!
