Hey everyone,

As a child April O'neil had inspirations of becoming a television reporter for Channel 6 news. It was her dream to be on live television informing the city population of current events  until one fateful night changed everything and April O'neil innocence was lost.

College life was going great for April, she had many friends and her grades were excellent. April had a difficult mid-term exam on sociology that she needed to pass to receive her journalism degree in news reporting so she ended up staying late in the library studying. After a long night of studying, as she was walking home in a isolated alley way. April was ambushed by Gang leader Hun and his Purple Dragons. The Purple Dragons didn't want any part of April money or belongings, they had something else in mind. April feared the worse and tried to defend herself from her attackers but in end she was overmatched and brutality raped by several gang members and left for dead. The next morning April woke up in the alley way beaten, nude and traumatized by what has happened...from that day forward April life  changed. The April O'neil we once knew was never the same.

A year has passed since the attack, April had to go thru therapy from the rape. She mentally became bi-polar and emotionally unstable. Her dreams of becoming a news reporter was dead as she questioned herself ("why report news and crime after it happens when you can take charge and prevent crime by stopping criminals on their tracks and helping others"). She then made the decision to get stronger by hitting the gym and learning martial arts to become a Vigilante to stop crime on the streets preventing the weak from becoming victims. She dropped her given last name to forget about her past and renamed herself April Jones to hide her true identity. The Ninja Turtles recruited April Jones to their team to help fight against the Purple Dragons,Shredder footclan and Krang army of mutants from
Dimension X in protecting New York City. April Jones is now a force to be reckon with. Criminals in New York city will be punished for their wrong doings. Justice will be painfully served!!

Base body:Upper chest and arms ML Thundra
          Lower torso and legs ML Spider Woman

Sneakers: WWE Jakks Diva

Heads:    Masked Head (ML Captain Marvel with Sota Vega mask modified and sculpted) I went with Vega mask because aesthetically it looks feminine

          Unmasked Alternate Head (DC Collectibles Wonder Woman with
          ML Captain Marvel hair)

I then sculpted April tank top,torn shirt,wrist wrap,yoga pants and leg warmers.
Sporting weapons,holding bag and armor gear came from fodder. Cricket bat weapon was made by modifying a fodder sword. Lastly I painted her up in red and blue to remsemble Tmnt Casey Jones and the city female vigilante was done.

I hope you guys like the (rated R) mirage comics style backstory. I wanted to make this version of April different from the April O'neil we know and grew up with by making her physically and mentally stronger, dealing with the difficulty in which we call life!
