My second custom I am posting today is also a core Avengers member. He is the God of Thunder and everyones favourite Chris Hemsworth lookalike; he is THOR!

I’ve read so many people complain about how there are no Thor figures built on a Hyperion buck, so I decided to go that route. I chose the classic costume because there are no good Classic Thor figures available and he too was in dire need of an updated ML figure. He was made using a Sentry figure as a base (head included). I added Madame Masque hair (modified), Odin BAF arms and cape, and a Marvel Select MCU Thor Mjolnir.

There was lots of sculpting on this bad boy. The entire upper torso was built up using Apoxie Sculpt. I also sculpted the boots, the knee pads, the wrist bands and the details on the torso (circles and belt). The helmet and wings (on his head) were fully sculpted as well. A complete paint job later, and classic Thor was completed.
