FIRST! I love bringing never before seen figures to The Realm, and am especially thrilled to be the first to share my favorite character, Spider-Man, in his MCU / Civil War costume, which debuted earlier today in the film's second trailer. His look combines classic elements with a few new designs, and I kept this base at the ready, assuming he'd be a good starter for the new look once it was revealed. Just Model Master paint and patience (this is a color red I've never used and it took more coats than I was expecting.). He even has the "tick" style spider logo on the back, which is barely noticeable in the trailer. He will be heading to a new owner very soon-- will you be the first person anywhere to have MCU Spidey on your shelf??? ETA: Based on the comments I received, I used some Aves to make the small compartments on the belt. The fact that they stick out from the costume is hardly noticeable at any angle, but, "authenticity" and whatnot-- they won't jut out much from the costume in the film either. I repainted the back Spider-logo and fixed his right eye, which I noticed had a rougher line than I realized. (I found that problem myself! Yay me!) Please wait... |

Might suggest some painters tape before you painted lines to make them a little more straight and crisp.
ETA: Added the belt pouches. And the back spider logo is fixed. The lighting in my workspace never seems to show all the details of a photo. When enlarged on this site (a nice new feature by the way) it really brings out a lot of things that are hard to see in person.
