The legend of Strongbad is a tale as old as time itself, or at least as old as energy drinks.If you don't know who he is, do yourself a favor and look him up to see all the crazy flash animation done based around a cast of characters like the Poopsmith, Coach Z,the only female Marzipan,her boyfriend Homestar Runner and his best friend Pom Pom. But don't forget the main man Strongbad. Strongbad is an ambassador from the kingdom of Strongbadia.He came to our land to probably conquer and enslave us.But he kind of got sidetracked with having to check his emails every week.Yes he can type with boxing gloves on. Anyway the figure started based off his email entitled "Action Figure" in which a viewer emailed the question about what Strongbad's action figure would look like and do.Check out pic #2 for the Double Deuce pose. I used a WWE figure to give it more scale. Finding the right headshape was kinda tricky and after several failed attempts I decided to use a spare Marv from Sin City. Plast-dip was applied over the head and when dry I applied the various mask details.Sorry if the pics come out kinda blurry. And yes the ab shading is supposed to look like Magic Marker. A.K.A. the Strongbad endorsed AB-ABBER 2000!. I had a blast watching all the old emails for reference.Well thanx for looking.I've already started work on the variant.
