This is a multi purpose display I made to show figures and staging. I constructed it from Owens Corning foam board. I then draw most of the detail work in ballpoint pen. The cobblestone, brick work, sidewalk were all hand drawn. For the roll up service door, I used a piece of corrugated cardboard from a diaper box, and painted it with liquid iron filings. I then Rusted it with a salt solution. The Pallette is made from popsicle sticks. I used simple acrylic paints from the dollar store to paint it. The payphone is a fridge magnet, but I think it's a bit too big for the scale of the rest of the display, so I made sure it was modular to allow for other accessories down the line. The intercom is a piece from a Gi Joe toy. Small Moss pieces, and some pebbles/sand from my driveway complete the look that works with all sorts of figures. This was my first time working with foam in this way. I hope you all enjoy my creation.
