After being exposed to an experimental virus in medical school, Kent gained superpowers and gave him limited invulnerability, super-speed, and super-strength. He also possesses far greater physical stamina than the average human, but he's susceptible to mental fatigue and therefore requires sleep.. He became a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes codenamed Impulse. He's the descendant of Clark Kent (Superman) & Lois Lane.

I really love Kent's origin and powers and the fact that he is a descendant of a hero is the best! That is why he should be in the Legion today!
