For the "Unite The Elements" contest I thought of number 47 on the Periodic Table of Elements ... Silver!

The Silver Surfer is one of the most uniquely designed characters. He's one of my favorites because of his simple and sleek design. He doesn't have a complex colorful costume, just his silver colored body. He also has the coolest mode of transportation imaginable, a surfboard that can take him across galaxies.


For this version, I used a Marvel Legends Venom body with Marvel Mashers Iceman head. I chose that head because it looked alien-like and similar to how Norrin Radd the Silver Surfer looks in the comics. I used chrome paint to give him a shiny and reflective look.

The surfboard was custom made from a toy board that I was lucky to find at a dollar store. Since I used a big base body for the figure, the board was just the right size. I also made a stand for it using a cell phone holder. I measured and cut reflective metallic strips and glued them on to the board.

I really like how this Silver Surfer turned out. Hope you all like it too.
