Here's an update to my last Wolverine figure. First off, he's got new claws. The ones he had before were made from scratch by me. I didn't like them all that much so I finally got around to transplanting the claws from MS X-Men Origins movie Wolverine figure onto this one. Painted them with AK 457 True Metal Steel paint.
Secondly, last time I somehow forgot to paint the nose part of his mask yellow, I left it completely blue. It looked really, really wrong.
Other than that, he's exactly like the first time. I still love this custom.

This is my tribute to Wolverine, the recently deceased X-Man and Avenger. I went all in this time, no shortcuts and easy choices. At the core, he's very similiar to my Ultimate Wolverine, they share the exact same upper halves. But the thing I was never 100% satisfied with with Ultimate - his legs - was changed. This time around Wolvie sports the legs of his mortal enemies' latest Marvel Legends figure.
The head was resculpted for me by the very, very talented Mister Garbage, who did a stellar job. Just look at that mask! It's amazing how great it looks and that you can still recognize Hugh Jackman's face underneath.
I've also used some fishing line and styrene strips to raise some elements of his costume.

Wolverine truly is the best there is.
