for the base I used 3- 2ft by 4ft foam boards(from bunnings) 30mm thick coved in watered down pva glue then sprinkled sand over the top allowwed to dry.then marked out where I wanted the water, cut out the water section with a multi tool,paint the whole board in watered down raw umber acrylic, made the trees out of jewllery wire from spotlight just twisted them together then painted brown then dipped the ends in watered down pva and rolled them in some sponges I grated up. made the buildings most are plastcraft and made the walls and one building from scratch using cardboard match sticks and paddle pop sticks, and placed them where I wanted them painted in a white foot path then used woodlands scenics products aswell as aquarium plants.painted the water areas blue with a small amount of green mixed in then used Vallejo still water over the water areas shaped and sculpted the mountains out of a spare sheet of foam one is foam board the other is spray foam added small pagodas (ebay) around the front of the temple, handmade the walls around the temple and the closest brown building to the temple aswell as a boat in the river area.... So over all size is 6x4ft....enjoy
