Woo hoo, I'm hopping on the Deadpool hype train just like everyone else! Wade took a good deal of trouble to put together. Started with a Marvel Now Captain America base figure because I liked the costume details and the fabric texture of the pants; hopefully it didn't end up too bulky for the character. Cracked the torso open and sanded down the joints to the best of my ability. Pretty frustrating I still ended up with paint rub issues in the end product. Anyway, sculpted on the chest and back armour padding. The head is repainted from a knockoff Greypool, with the right eye re-sculpted to capture Deadpool's signature expression. The swords and sheaths were a whole mess of trouble. The sheaths are from Sin City Miho and the swords came with the knockoff Greypool figure. The sheaths kept on cracking and I had to sculpt them back together. The holsters are from Red Skull, trimmed down. The pistols are repainted from Red Skull's. The straps that attach the holsters to his legs are sheet styrene. The hands are from Baron Zemo, nerve-wracking because they're yellow and are the only appropriate hands I had in the fodder bin. Lots of coats of red paint later, here he is. Thanks for looking!
