Bui was a commission I took on 2013. This character is based in the anime "Yu Yu Hakusho" which my customer wanted done in a big scale. The choice was to go with Play Arts Kai since both the scale and style suited the character. The figure was a god knows what Batman which was throroughly disassembled and sculpted in parts. It took months to get the details right and finally after the figure was done, his huge axe had to be created from a plastic acetone bottle, styrene and apoxie all combined to make the enormous weapon. Once it was done, paints were applied and voila! Now he can split any foe in two (yeah the anime is pretty brutal!) Video is up in my channel. Thanks for checking!
