In the world of Batman Beyond, the original "World's Finest" duo are the older veteran heroes who have become the mentors for the next generation. The original Dark Knight is a much older Bruce Wayne. He no longer wears the cape and cowl but he still has the sharp mind of a great detective as he guides the new Batman, Terry McGinnis. In that future world, Superman the Man of Tomorrow, no longer wears a cape but a black costume instead. He is the head of the new Justice League. Superman is the only original founding member on the new league. These two have had a long history together. They've teamed up again to take down a new menace. It's a villain who is a crazy combination of their two enemies from the past (an original concept I created, The METALLO-JOKER). The Recipes: Old Bruce Wayne was made from a mixture of parts from WWE Joey Mercury and Triple H. His cane was put together from two Daredevil accessories. His head came from the head of Silvermane from Marvel Legends Speed Demon. Finally, I just added the ears and hair on to the head. Superman was made from a Marvel Legends Venom. The squares on his suit were cut from metallic strips. The head was from a DC Direct Superman. I initially intended for this set to be my entry for the Batman Beyond themed custom contest. However, I did not want to break them up into two separate individual entries since all the classic DC Comics fans know this duo best as The World's Finest. I decided to keep them together, not enter the contest, and just share them on the main custom figures page. I hope all you fans of the World's Finest and Batman Beyond like them. I did my best to make these two "Totally Schway". ![]() |

Multiple figures in one submission skews voting. The kneejerk reaction is to vote higher than you normally would.
Multi-figure submissions will only be allowed if the contest favors it, like the recent tag team contest.
