I first saw Peter Cannon Thunderbolt in DC's Crisis on Infinite Eathrs. It was later I learned that he was Alan Moore's inspiration for the Watchmen series character Ozymandias. I basically built the body from several parts of different DCUC Green Lantern fodder I had amassed over the last couple of years. The head is a repainted DCUC Young Justice Superboy. I painted using a blend of bright red and metallic to diminish the sparkles in the paint but maintained a modern look. I did the same on the blue acrylic and then for the legs, arms, and mask I used a base coat of black then dry brushed it using gun metal gray. I'm very pleased how it turned out.
