The Black Series Vader is a mess. I made apologises for it for a long time but the helmet is awful. The reveal mask is no excuse for the shoddy build. The soft goods were also terrible. Very cheap looking and how they attached it to the figure was sloppy. I swapped out the cape and under tunic for some custom made pieces sewn from t-shirt material. I replaced the ridiculous chain for a smaller black one. Final I decided to swap the head for the one from the Bandai kit. You lose the reveal gimmick but gain a much sharper mask with a perfect gloss finish with basically no effort. I used the original neck joint and glued it into the Bandai neck, retaining the head mobility.
